INGREDIENTS

  • Channa daal 1 cup
  • Luki ½ kg
  • Onion 1 large ( slice)
  • Gin/gar 1+ 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 3 med chopped
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Knorr soupstock 20 gm
  • Chili powder 1tsp
  • Crushed chili 1 tsp
  • Haldi ½ tsp
  • Zeera 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/ 2tsp
  • Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 2-3 chopped

METHOD

  • Boil channa daal with enough water till tender.
  • Heat oil sauté onion then add gin/ garlic and tomatoes.
  • Cut lauki in soupstock wise.
  • Add in gravy
  • Add all seasoning except knorr soupstock.
  • Combine daal in gravy
  • Now add knorr soupstock
  • Put chilies ginger on top.
  • Dum for 10 min
