INGREDIENTS

  • Moong masoor daal 1 cup
  • Onion chopped ½ cup
  • Gin/gar 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Beef soupstock 10 gm
  • Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  • Masala ingredients
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onion 2 med
  • Gin/gar 1+1 tsp
  • Tomato 2 med
  • Salt to taste
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Green chili 2-3

METHOD

  • Mix all ingredients of daal. Heat oil fry one spoon of daal mix (like pakora) till crisp.
  • Heat oil fry onion till golden brown and then add gin gar then tomatoes.
  • Add soupstock, chili powder and salt.
  • Cook for 5 min.
  • Add pokora in gravy. Serve with chapatti.
